The House Gathering at Mountain Light Retreat features sacred readings, meditative music, and both silent and group reflection on John Philip Newell’s book, Sacred Earth Sacred Soul. What is coming up from these inspirational sources moves and connects those gathered together. Intercessory prayer and gratitudes conclude the Gathering. Folks are welcome to arrive early to walk the grounds, or stay after for lunch. Bring your journal, water bottle, good walking shoes, and if desired, your lunch. Your rsvp is appreciated but not required.

Note: The Stations of the Cross, created by internationally recognized artist Janet McKenzie, will be on view in the church from 1-3 PM, with a teaching by Pastor Ruby Carnes, Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. All are welcome to stay for this afternoon offering.
